Collecting and processing personal data

Forms

This personal data is only used for the purpose stated in the respective declaration of consent. The data collected will not be passed on to third parties. We do, however, reserve the right to disclose information if we are obliged to by law or if the disclosure is demanded of us by lawfully acting authorities or law enforcement bodies.

You may revoke the consent you have given Hohenstein Verwaltungs-GmbH in full or in part with immediate effect at any time by sending an e-mail to datenschutz(at)hohenstein.group. We will then delete the data concerned unless otherwise agreed upon with you.

Logging

Access to these webpages may be logged for a limited period in accordance with the law, i.e. be stored in so-called log files. The IP address and port of the client (browser), the time of access as well as technical information such as the website visited, error code, http status code or similar are logged.

This information is solely used for guaranteeing the operation of the system and is not processed in any other way or disclosed to third parties.

Visitor statistics

In order to improve our service, we collect visitor numbers in anonymised form, i.e. IP addresses are abbreviated and thus not retraceable, and the following statistical data: pages visited, clicks on external links, downloads, the referrer website, time and duration of the visit as well as allocation of the visitor’s origin via the language transmitted by the browser, e.g. “de-ch” for German and Switzerland. For purposes of further optimisation of the webpages, also the browser used, operating system, type of device and resolution.

To collect this data, we use Matomo, see below.
This data is used internally, not disclosed to third parties and equally not stored on servers abroad.

Use of cookies

We use “cookies” to alleviate the use of our website. Cookies are small text files that your browser can store on your computer’s hard disk and which are useful for using our website. This is web-based technology used by many websites.

Most browsers are able to block the receipt of all cookies, to remove existing cookies or to warn the user prior to receiving a cookie. When deactivating cookies, however, not all functions of the website are available.

We use the following cookies: so-called session cookies for the respective visit, cookies for logging in (during the log-in process), cookies with so-called NID from Google for showing directions using Google Maps, cookies for visitor analysis for differentiating between the visitors and visits (also see the following section on Matomo).

Analyses via Matomo

Our website uses Matomo, a software to record visitor statistics.

Matomo uses cookies to enable the analysis of the use of the website. Cookies are generated to differentiate between visitors/users and to differentiate between the individual visits. You can prevent the use of cookies by way of a corresponding setting in your browser software.

By way of Matomo, we record visitor statistics on the basis of an anonymised IP address.
When doing so, the last two blocks are removed, e.g. 217.8.x.x.

Your IP address is thus anonymised immediately so that you as a user remain anonymous for us.

The information generated about your use of this website is not disclosed to third parties.

If you do not agree with the storage and analysis of this data from your visit, you can object to the storage and usage at the click of the mouse at any time in the following. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which will lead to Matomo not storing any session data whatsoever. Please note: If you delete your cookies, this also leads to the opt-out cookie being deleted and you having to reactivate it again where necessary.

Data integrity

Your data is hosted in the course of third-party data processing by a provider in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Both Hohenstein Verwaltungs-GmbH and the provider apply technical and organisational safety precautions to protect the data collected about you against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons. Our safety precautions are continuously improved in line with technological progress.
